Radiant Trinity Release – Hero 250, T15, SH150

Game of War had a new trinity release last night – raising the maximum hero level, maximum stronghold level, and up to tier 17 troops. This release was done in the same manner as the previous trinity release, with each “tier” requiring a new form of item. We will continuously update as more information becomes available, but initial results show that the maximum levels go well beyond what is stated in the blog.

With the announcement that the Super Wonder begins tonight, several of the largest accounts in Game of War are racing to upgrade and prepare their teams.

Radiant Hero Levels

The previous max level was Hero 225 – it remains to be seen what the new max is, but this is what we have learned so far :

  • Radiant Heroic Chain is the item required to update from Hero 226 through Hero 250.
  • Hero 251 through Hero 270 (unconfirmed) requires Ornate Heroic Shell to upgrade.
  • After Hero 271 requires Gilded Heroic Goblet to upgrade. This is unconfirmed, and we do not know any of the amounts necessary.

Radiant Heroic Chain Costs

These are the costs that we know (so far) to hero level 250 in GoW. We will continue to update this as more information becomes available.
Game of War Radiant Heroic Chains

Stronghold 150 and Beyond

The previous maximum Stronghold and interior main building level was 125. This has increased as well, and we are working to compile information. What we know so far :

  • Radiant Brass Sheet are required to update from Stronghold 126 through Stronghold 150.
  • Stronghold 151 through Stronghold 170 (unconfirmed) requires Ornate Rock Slab to upgrade.
  • After Stronghold 171 you need Gilded Marble Slab to upgrade. Again, this is unconfirmed, and we do not know the amounts necessary.

Radiant Brass Sheet Costs

These are the costs that we have compiled so far. Radiant Brass Sheet are required to upgrade up to SH 150 – as we learn the amounts necessary, we will continue to update this post.

Radiant Combat Research – Tier 15 through Tier 17

All three new tiers of troops were released in one research tree – the Radiant Combat research. In addition to new troop types, this tree also provides a massive amount of combat stats (including the new Troop Massacre and Multi-Kill stats) and huge increases in march sizes. What we know about T15 research :

  • The first part of the tree requires Radiant Knowledge to upgrade, and will unlock T15 troops and associated combat stats.
  • You do not have to fully max every T15 research to level 10 in order to move on to T16 research. Only the bottom four skills are required to be level 10 in order to advance to Tier 16.
  • Every level of research costs the same amount – as of now, they do require Supreme Speedups and T4 Resources to upgrade. More information on this is at the bottom of the post.
  • Training Tier 15 troops requires T3 Resources and Supreme Speedups.

Radiant Knowledge Costs

This is the full amount of Radiant Knowledge required to complete Tier 15 research. We are working to compile information for Tier 16 and Tier 17.
Game of War Tier 15 Radiant Knowledge

Tier 4 Resources

Another tier of resources was released that is necessary to complete T15 and above researches. This means the resources tiers are now as follows :

  • Tier 4 Resources
    • Lavastone
    • Pinewood
    • Magnatite
    • Soy
    • Cowry
  • Tier 3 Resources
    • Limestone
    • Maple Wood
    • Coal
    • Cheese
    • Capital
  • Tier 2 Resources
    • Enamel
    • Olives
    • Salt
    • Cane
    • Bonds
  • Tier 1 Resources
    • Stone
    • Wood
    • Ore
    • Food
    • Silver

Reminder : Training T15 troops requires Tier 3 Resources, not Tier 4.

Stay tuned for more updates – we are working hard to update the information as quickly as possible.

Special Buildings – Level 150

Last updated on October 2nd, 2017 at 07:27 pm

Game of War released Special Building Levels 126-150.   With these new building levels comes another massive increase to stats which again has accounts trying to catch up to become unburnable.  The increase in stats for Level 150 completely annihilate the former Level 125.

The benefits of upgrading these buildings to max level:

Specialized Building Level 150 Stat Increases

Chart showing Stats at Level 144 and Announced Maxed Stats for Level 150:

For some reason Game of War is not increasing the Building Stats for the Alchemy Lab in the same proportion as all other Buildings and Stats.  Total stats for Alchemy Lab is as follows:  10.2 Billion Troop Attack, 10.5 Million Troop Defense, 10.5 Million Troop Health and these stats were also left off of the Blog Announcement.  For these reasons, Alchemy Lab has not been included in the charts.  100% of fighting stats for the Alchemy Lab come from the Potion for now.

Overall it appears that the increase from one level to the next stays consistent from Levels 125-144.  Further information will come for Levels 144-150.

Gladiator Level 30 (and beyond) Released

An extension to the Gladiator Skill Tree was released in Game of War last night – bringing with it a massive amount of stat changes (as well as some new mechanics). This skill tree extension has already caused an enormous amount of destruction and zeroing in GoW, and Strongholds of all sizes are scrambling to adjust for it.

This new portion of Gladiator Skills still require Gladiator Medallion to level. Also, a lack of skill points available in the tree will cause you to need to truly optimize your Gladiator Skill tree in order to dominate.

Gladiator Medallion Cost and Stats Provided

The following table shows the total amount of Gladiator Medallion needed to get to Gladiator 30 (and beyond) and the stats provided by each level. It is not currently known what the maximum Gladiator level is, but (for now) past 30 you only get additional skill points.
Game of War Gladiator Skill Tree Level 30

Gladiator 30 Analysis

At this point, we are still running tests to discern what Troop Massacre stats actually do. It does appear as if this Troop Massacre, Type Massacre, Legion Massacre, and Trap Massacre are entirely new attack mechanics.

We are still narrowing down our testing to attempt to determine the EXACT mechanic that Massacre is using, but these are the INITIAL TEST RESULTS from tile testing. Please note : These are TILE TESTS – these are not against an enemy Stronghold or against the Wonder. When more testing is performed against Strongholds or in the Wonder, we will update with more exact information. For now, take these test results with a very large grain of salt – they are by no means definitive.
Test Setup : Tile testing. Attacker sent a small amount of T14 troops against various troop compositions without massacre skilled. After these hits, the attacker then sent the same amount of T14 troops against the same compositions with massacre skilled. The results :

  • Against T14 Troops : Skilling into troop massacre resulted in NO ADDITIONAL KILLS. These results were surprising.
  • Against T12 Troops : Skilling into troop massacre resulted in 8% more kills.
  • Against T4 Troops : Skilling into troop massacre resulted in 13% more kills.

Analysis : Please remember, these tests were very rudimentary and were just to attempt to get a feel for Troop Massacre. What we DID learn from these tests is that Troop Massacre is doing one of two things : Troop Massacre is EITHER strongly influenced by the Troop TIER you are hitting, or by the TYPE HEALTH that you are hitting. We are still working to narrow down which of these is coming into play.

Needless to say, if Troop Massacre is strongly influenced by the Troop Tier that it is hitting…there will be some major adjusting for lots of accounts in Game of War. This remains to be seen.

Stay tuned for further testing and updates.

Primordial Runes, VIP 400 & Smart Item Search

Primordial Runes

A new set of runes was released in Game of War – Primordial Runes. These runes provide a large increase in stats from the previous release of Behemoth Runes. Primordial Runes shift their focus away from Troop Attack and Unstoppable Attack to Onslaught Attack and Legion Attack.

*With Rune Multiplier Bonuses Applied

  • Onslaught Attack   99.8 KT
  • Legion Attack            1.5 MTT
  • Rally / Wonder Health  3 MTT
  • Mobile Trap Health  1.5 MTT
  • Type Defense            5.98 MT

Primordial Rune Stats

These are the stats on the new set of runes with Applied Rune Multipliers:

VIP 400

Game of War released new VIP levels – VIP 376 through VIP 400.  These Levels doubled the stats of VIP 375.

Smart Item Search

Game of War has updated the Items menu to include a Searchable Find tab.  Type the item wanted in the Search bar and items with that description will appear.  Unlock item for this feature is available in packs.

Hero 125 Requirements, SH 125 Costs, and Rune Guides Updated

Rune Guides Updated

We have updated our Rune Guides to include the latest runes released in Game of War. These guides to the best runes (as well as analysis and comparison with the old sets of runes) can be found here :

Ascendant Heroic Lockets for Hero 225

The total number of Ascendant Heroic Lockets has been updated as well. As you can see, once at level 223 the number of lockets accelerates rapidly.
Game of War Hero Level 225

We are compiling a list of the stats that are added by each hero level now – expect that update shortly.

Stronghold 125 Ancient Fossil Blocks

Additionally, we have updated our Ancient Fossil Block costs list. Just like hero levels, the number accelerates incredibly rapidly once at level 123.
Game of War Stronghold 125

We are compiling a comprehensive list of the stats gained by each building now. Stay tuned for updates!

VIP 375, Smart Troop Training & “Hero Skills to Here” System

Game of War released new VIP levels – VIP 326 through VIP 375.  With these levels comes another large increase in stats.

VIP 375 stats:

First stat represents the total stat given in VIP 375.  Stats in parenthesis represent the increase from VIP 325 to VIP 375.

  • Troop Attack                  2.49 MTT      (2.39 MTT , 4.32 MTT after altar)
  • Troop Defense                3.1 MT         (2.05 MT, 3.69 MT after altar)
  • Legion & Type Defense 3.1 MT         (2.05 MT)
  • Onslaught Attack          201 KTT        (199.2 KTT)
  • Resolute Defense        2.41 MT         (2.015 MT)
  • Wonder / Rally Health 175 KTT         (32 KTT)
  • Mobile Trap Health    87.5 KTT          (15.8 KTT)
  • Defense Anni               4.59 KT            (0)

New Special Features:

  • Level 350 has Smart Troop Training System which can be turned on or off in Game Options.  Smart Troop Training automatically reduces your training que to the amount of resources you have available.
  • Level 375 has Hero Skills to Here System which automatically fills base skill minimum requirements up to the desired location in skill tree.  This dramatically saves time.

Note:  VIP has now been dropping 2-3 times a week.   Even after a recent 375 release, VIP 400 is now showing.

Chart Showing VIP 325-375 stats before altar:

Chart showing total increase from VIP 325 to 375:

VIP Efficiency

VIP Efficiency and Cost Efficiency is important to be aware of especially when VIP is dropping from 2 – 3 times a week.   Throughout VIP 325-375 there are 2 tiers of stats that are added.  VIP 332-350  and VIP 359-375 give the most increase per level.  VIP 327-331, and VIP 351-355 give less.  VIP 356-358 appears to be transitional levels.

For Wonder / Rally Health, I suspect that the increase in stats for VIP 332 – 350 and VIP 359-375 are small enough that they do not always show as an increase on every level.

Building Levels 101 to 125 Released

Game of War maximum building levels were increased to 125 tonight, providing incredibly massive combat boosts and march sizes. The in-game blog advertises up to SH 110, but (just like the Hero 225) they can actually be upgraded up to level 125. As of now, Stronghold 125 is the unconfirmed max SH.

Max Stronghold Level

As with the previous iterations of building levels in GoW, upgrading your buildings provide MASSIVE combat boosts.

What we know about SH125 so far :

  • Upgrade your buildings using Ancient Fossil Block. These are a new item that are found in packs.
  • The upgrade cost does NOT increase with each level. The cost increases at level 106 and 109. The levels inbetween are uniform in cost.
  • Upon reaching level 109, the Ancient Fossil Block cost starts to increase much faster.

Stronghold 101 through Stronghold 110

We have compiled a list of the total Ancient Fossil Block cost through SH110. We are working to compile the stats gained from these levels, as well as the ancient fossil block cost for the levels beyond this. Stay tuned for more information!

Please stay tuned for more updates – we will be updating rapidly as they become available.

New Levels – Hero 225 Released

New hero levels were released in Game of War last night. It appears as if the maximum level will end up at Hero 225 – but this remains unverified.

Hero 201 through Hero 225 Notes

  • Leveling your hero above 200 requires Ascendant Heroic Locket. These are new items that are found in packs.
  • Hero 201 through Hero 210 appears to have most of the DEFENSIVE stats – theoretically to make sure that trap accounts and rally fillers can keep up.
  • Hero 211 through 220 focuses mainly on OFFENSIVE stats, with far less defensive stats than the previous ten hero levels.
  • They have reintroduced Troop Health in massive amounts with these new hero levels.
  • They have also reintroduced single type combat stats, both attack and defense.
  • It is still unconfirmed that Hero 225 is the max – we will update this post as more information becomes available.

Hero 225 Information

We will update this table with more information as it becomes available. Please note : highlighted boxes are unconfirmed amounts.

Ascendant Combat T14 Research Released

Tier 14 was released in Game of War last night – bringing a massive new amount of attack stats and march sizes to the table; along with an entire new tier of troops.

This research returns to the old school of researches, with each type of T14 having it’s own research tree (Normal, Strategic, and Wild).

Quick Facts about Ascendant T14 Troops

  • The “10 level” researches in each tree require Ascendant Knowledge to upgrade. Unlocking each T14 troop and trap type require Ascendant Troop Unlock to upgrade. All of the Ascendant Troop Unlock items needed to open up all T14 troops and traps are available in one pack at this point.
  • Each research tree focuses on one “type” of boosts – either troop boosts, legion boosts, or type boosts. Additionally, each research tree has two researches that are specific to only that tree.
    • The Ascendant Normal Combat tree focuses on TROOP Stats. The additional researches in this tree are Onslaught Attack and Resolute Defense.
    • The Ascendant Strategic Combat tree focuses on LEGION Stats. The additional researches in this tree are Defense Annihilation and Empire Troop/Rally Attack Debuff.
    • The Ascendant Wild Combat tree focuses on TYPE Stats. The additional researches in this tree are Unstoppable Attack and Wonder/Rally Attack Debuff.
  • Each research tree has equal Ascendant Knowledge costs throughout.
  • There IS A TOKEN TO REDUCE SPEEDS TO 0. This token is available in some packs. Please note : The 100% Speedup Effectiveness token IS NOT THE ONE that reduces the speeds. You need to find the one that says “100% Speedup Redux” on it.

We will be doing further analysis and testing on the Tier 14 troops and their impact on the Wonder and rallying enemy strongholds shortly. Please stay tuned for that.

Barbarian King Gear Set

Barbarian King Gear Set

The Barbarian King set was released in Game of War last night bringing to the game large amounts of attack.  The Barbarian set consists of 4 different qualities of gear from lowest to highest:  Ultimate, Supreme, Exalted and Divine.

Each of the sets look similar with the Teal background.  What sets the different tiers of gear apart is the color theme used in the Gears decor.  Ultimate is yellow, Supreme is Blue, Exalted is Black and Divine set apart by the use of Flames.

The 5 main sections where gear stats come from are:

  • Base Gear stats
  • Set Bonus
  • Set Gear Leveling
  • Gear Quality
  • Power up

In order to help people know which set or combination to use, let’s take a closer look.

Set Bonus

The Barbarian King and Harbinger gear set have exactly the same Set Bonuses with the exception of the Wonder March Speed and March Return Speed.  A total of 70,000% for Wonder March Speed and 3,750% March Return Speed have been included in the Barbarian’s Set 5 Bonus.

Set Gear Leveling

Set Gear Leveling on the Barbarian Set is a major upgrade for attack and health.  Even when compared to the Harbinger’s Level 5000 the Barbarian’s 240 raises combined attack from 49 – 92 KTT (depending on type of attack) to 960 KTT.  Max Gear Leveling attack for the Barbarian is 4 MTT.

For Defense the Harbinger Set Gear Bonus gives more coverage at 719 KT Legion Defense versus the 100 KT Legion Defense Barbarian King max stats.  When Harbinger Bracers are used in conjunction with the ULTIMATE Barbarian pieces, the mixed set will receive the Harbinger Set Gear bonus.

Barbarian King Gear Quality

Each of the sets have differing number of Quality Levels in which pieces can be raised.  Divine has the normal amount of 10 levels, Exalted has 8, Supreme and Ultimate have 5.  This brings to question which set of gear should one level up initially especially when Gear Quality con

  • Ultimate Level 5 Gear Quality is equivalent to Supreme level 3 Gear Quality.
  • Supreme Level 5 is equivalent to Exalted level 3.
  • Exalted Level 5 is equivalent to Divine level 5.
  • Exalted Level 8 is equivalent to Divine level 7.

Chart explaining why we say this is below.  Shows Gear Quality stats for a full set of 7 Barbarian King gear set :

Chart showing Gear Quality for 1 piece:

As we saw on the preceding chart, Exalted Level 8 is equivalent to Divine 7.  However, the costs are exponentially less expensive .  A maxed Exalted set costs 15.67 million Ancient Talisman whereas a Divine set with gear quality 7 costs 86.25 million.

Ancient Talisman Efficiency

As seen from the previous charts, the amount of Attack provided ramps up quickly (as does the amount of items necessary to improve the quality). However, breaking it down further you see the following :
Game of War Barbarian King Ancient Talisman

Until you have enough Ancient Talisman to get each piece of gear to LEVEL 9 OR 10, it is FAR MORE EFFICIENT to level each item up to LEVEL 4. After that level EACH ITEM TO LEVEL 5. Once your entire set is at level 5, you should focus all Talisman on one item until it is maxed. Basically, once it starts costing 23.5m Ancient Talisman per level, you want to focus all of your Ancient Talisman on getting that piece to level 10.

Barbarian King Power UP

The Barbarian King’s Power up stats are identical to the Harbinger’s.
